About Kathy
“Real estate is a very personal business. When I shifted from corporate America to real estate, helping people find ‘their space’ where they felt at home and could thrive was all I could think about.” Kathy Clapp has been an active full-time Realtor since 2017. With a prior corporate background in marketing and technology contracted with Cisco Systems and Hewlett Packard, she adapted well into the real estate business and developed relationships and systems that created win-win solutions for her clients. Focused on helping clients buy and sell residential and investment real estate in and around the Tri-Valley, Tri-City, and Castro Valley areas has been Kathy’s main concentration since she has lived in the East Bay (Fremont, Pleasanton, and Livermore) most of her life. Her innovative Client Connection Program applies target marketing to match the right home to the right client throughout San Francisco’s East Bay. In addition to her extensive marketing and negotiation skills, Kathy is a certified Distinguished Property Specialist through the national ERA Real Estate network and is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and BayEast Association of Realtors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing - Advertising minor, from San Jose State University and is a member of Joya Yoga in Livermore. Outside of real estate, you’ll find Kathy cheering on her young adult sons with their sports activities, going for walks with Rune, her Alaskan Malamute, and spending time with Mike, her husband of 30+ years.
