About Tom E.
Tom was born and raised in Livermore. His mother’s family moved to Livermore in 1929 when the population was just 2500 people. His father a long time resident of Livermore was active in local politics. Tom married his Livermore High School Sweetheart and has three grown children and seven grandchildren.
Licensed in 1981, Tom brings a confidence to the real estate transaction. Following in the footsteps of his father, Broker Eldred E. Chance, Tom’s knowledge and real estate experience covers “our” Tri-Valley. Tom began his real estate career in 1981, as vice president of Argent Mortgage in Lafayette, working closely with investors by handling their portfolios. It was during this time that Tom realized the challenges and excitement associated with real estate sales. Since that time, he has been actively involved with families, friends, relocation clients and businesses by assisting them with their real estate needs and helping them secure their financial future.
A continual Top Producer for the past 35+ years, Tom has been recognized by the real estate community by receiving the Grand Master Award, the Master Award, the President’s Club, and most notably, REALTOR® of the year for the Tri-Valley. Tom also has served as President of the local Livermore Marketing Association of Realtors.
During his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, gardening, and making the best 'hot chocolate chip cookies' you could ever dream of tasting!
